This is the house where I grew up. 804 Raleigh Street. My amazing 90 year old grandmother died in May. So I spent the day here packing up her things and deciding which pieces of her I wanted to bring home with me before the house is sold. The funny thing is, I don’t know that I have really ever paid attention to what the house looked like until I took this picture. I have come in and out of those doors so many times and have never seen it from this perspective before. I am so grateful for her, this house, and the memories and legacy she gave to me.
