Two days ago we were in the car and on the radio, there was a spot promoting a music store selling guitars. They said “The fender stratacaster has changed the world”. After a moment of silence, Norah replied “Mommy, I don’t think they’re telling the truth. A guitar can’t really change the world.”
Yesterday morning Norah and Hannah woke me up, and as they were laying in my bed, Hannah was playing with one of Norah’s stuffed animals, they had this exchange:
Hannah: “I wish I had one of these”
Norah: “I’ll buy you one Hannah” … How much moneys is it?
Hannah: “it’s 6 dollars.”
Norah: “I don’t think I have that much in my piggy bank, I only have one penny.”
